Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 pound deli ham chopped
  • 1/4 pound deli turkey chopped
  • 1/4 pound provolone cheese chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped banana peppers
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Italian dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the ham, turkey, cheese, lettuce, onion, and banana peppers.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Italian dressing, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the meat and vegetable mixture and stir to combine.
  • Serve immediately with bread, crackers, or chips for dipping.

Tips
For a spicier hoagie dip, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the dressing.
If you don't have banana peppers, you can substitute another type of pickled pepper, such as giardiniera or pepperoncini.
Hoagie dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Hoagie dip is also a great way to use up leftover vegetables. Add any chopped vegetables that you have on hand to the dip.
