Notes

Tips
For a spicier salad, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the dressing.
If you don't have banana peppers, you can substitute with another type of pickled pepper, such as giardiniera or pepperoncini.
This salad is also great on a bed of pasta or rice.
You can also make this salad ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Variations
Vegetarian Grinder Salad: Replace the salami and ham with your favorite vegetarian deli meats, such as veggie ham, turkey, or tempeh.
Chicken Grinder Salad: Use cooked chicken breast in place of the salami and ham.
Caprese Grinder Salad: Omit the deli meats and banana peppers, and add fresh mozzarella cheese, basil leaves, and balsamic vinegar.
