Ingredients
  

  • 9 cups Chex cereal I used a mix of corn, rice, and wheat Chex
  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup Cheerios
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 cup 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the Chex cereal, pretzels, Cheerios, and peanuts.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  • Spread the Chex Mix in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, or until the Chex Mix is golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese, if using.

Tips
For a spicier Chex Mix, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
If you don't have peanuts, you can substitute another type of nut, such as almonds or cashews.
You can also add other mix-ins to your Chex Mix, such as goldfish crackers, Chex Mix Snack Mix, or pretzels.
Store Chex Mix in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Variations
Spicy Chex Mix: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the butter mixture for a spicy kick.
Sweet and Salty Chex Mix: Add a 1/4 cup of chocolate chips and a 1/4 cup of white chocolate chips to the melted butter mixture for a sweet and salty treat.
Cheesy Chex Mix: Add 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese to the Chex Mix after it has cooled.
Ranch Chex Mix: Substitute ranch dressing for the Worcestershire sauce in the butter mixture.
Garlic Parmesan Chex Mix: Add 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder to the Chex Mix after it has cooled.
